With over 25 years of experience, Milena Perini, BSc, PT, is a passionate and dedicated physiotherapist specializing in pediatric care.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to VIVA Pediatric Physio, providing compassionate and effective care for newborn to 5 year old children.

 

Milena’s diverse career has spanned various healthcare settings, including pediatric care, acute care, neonatal intensive care (NICU), and early intervention programs.  Her extensive training includes specialized therapeutic approaches such as Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), cardio-respiratory physiotherapy, and dance therapy.  This diverse background allows her to provide comprehensive and tailored care for each child’s unique needs.

International Experience and Expertise

Milena’s professional journey has taken her across three countries: Brazil, the USA, and Canada. This international experience has broadened her understanding of pediatric conditions and therapeutic practices, enabling her to provide culturally sensitive and effective care.

Personal Interests and Community Involvement
Outside of her physiotherapy practice, Milena has explored her life-long passion for dance. As a former ballet and tap instructor, she brings a unique perspective to her work, integrating movement and rhythm into her therapeutic approaches.
Milena relocated to Canada just over 25 years ago with her husband and is a proud mother of two. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Her commitment to community involvement reflects her dedication to serving families and children.
